The judges will evaluate your submission based on your responses to the following questions. Please provide detailed and clear answers, highlighting the impact and achievements of your initiative. Be sure to include the name of your project at the beginning of your submission. You are welcome to include supporting images, graphics, or documents to enhance your submission.
All submissions must be in PDF format.
- What was the focus or theme of your business event?
- What were the top three objectives for hosting your business event, and how did you accomplish them?
- How did your business event elevate the profile of Edmonton at the provincial, regional, national, or international levels?
- How did your business event successfully promote the City of Edmonton?
- What was the economic impact of your event on the local economy, including restaurants, accommodations, and transportation?
- What was the content of your event, and how did your choice of speakers, delivery methods, integration of technology, or use of social media contribute to its success?
- What innovative elements did you bring to your business event?
- How did you promote your business event to drive attendance?
- What strategies did you use to engage the audience and create an interactive, learning-focused environment?
- How was your business event funded?
- How many people attended your business event?
- Why does your organization deserve to win the Business Event of the Year Award?
Event must have been held in the 2024 calendar year (January 2024 to December 31, 2024)
